About Me

I was born in family of the artists in city of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. My  father was a book editor and fine artist who illustrated books, designed graphic arts and  posters. I am  the youngest of six artistic children, was the only child in the family to become a professional artist, like my  father, and I credit my father as a primary source of my own inspiration.   An early childhood injury sustained while playing soccer as a teenager, permanently changed the course of my life. During the months of recuperation, I became deeply absorbed in reading art theory books. It was during this period that I discovered my passion for art and decided to dedicate my life to the creation and study of art. I majored in art in college, and later worked as a designer artist/illustrator in the theater, press and news media.

I consider myself primarily an historical artist: I began my journey as an historical artist most simply, by learning how to cut paper with a pair of scissors. In the end, I discovered the truth that lies in art, and the existence of our collective mind and soul. How the scissors and paper, intricate and fragile, are a metaphor for life itself!     Influenced by both Eastern and Western artistic traditions, as well as Eastern religious philosophies, My artistic vision is above all steeped in my abiding love of my native land: the rugged open steppes, the horses that are an intrinsic part of Mongolian culture, and its rich, colorful history. Mongolia is a country of oral history. A nomadic people, Mongolians used storytelling to pass down traditions and lore from one generation to next, leaving few written records.   The tradition of cutting designs out of felt, paper, or other material, is an ancient one. For example, when a child was born, the family would cut out of felt the image of a fox and display it near the child’s bed.   This symbolic image, like the dream catcher of the Native American artistic tradition, was meant to protect the child from nightmares.   I am currently live in San Francisco, California and Reno, Nevada.

My art business has been designated as a "Trusted Art Seller" with The Art Storefronts Organization, which means you can shop with confidence, and know that I stand behind the quality and value of my products.

Since I was a kid surpricingly adored with penciling everyday and inspired and influenced a two artists as my teacher, friend and competitors. An one is a French graphic artist, illustrator Gustav Dore and another one is a Japanese artist, print maker Katsushika Hokusai.

I was graduated in College at ceramics and decorative sculpture classes and after a college, I started to work as freelancer and illustrator many news papers and publishers as well.

Early years, I experimented a different papers with a different scissors cutting shapes and objects and then much more exited creating a different figures and ideas.

At first at all the book illustration is made me exited with creating own view and expression and feeling that after proof reading.

Also the same time creating Paper cut silhouettes with paper and scissors so special and unique knowledge of my Art carrier.

I created a series of the historical books and illustrated quite a lot of book illustrations of the World literatures and poetry.

The Life and Art is a equal Universal force of the University (power) that I learned as a tool that an everyday been a passionate, hard working manner and expressing a new ideas.

The Paper Cut Silhouette is unique a new style and form American Art.

The Paper is fragile simple material and the Scissors is so aggressive tool.
